KC, how is grandson doing after surgery?

Just wondered if he is up to raising some ruckus again.

He's doing great for the most part. I'm talking to cg now, and she'll come on soon and give more detail.

KC.. he's doing better... but I'm hesitant on saying great, yet.

This was his first day off of the codeine. I was pretty optomistic until about 20min ago. He woke up after 2 hrs sleep in agony. I gave him over-iced apple juice, and an ice pack on his neck. Basically rocked him back to sleep. I'm sure this will be the hardest night... but I have a strong feeling it will be a long one.

Hope that lil' darlin' feels better this morn. Nothing rips you apart than seeing your child hurting and you be helpless to stop the pain. WW

He woke up feeling good. Night time is much harder for him.
