Hi Everyone,

Alex Andrawes should be checking in soon on this board. I'd like to introduce him. He's taking over the marketing end of WINES.COM and he will be in charge of all the wine we sell, etc.

He's very interested in your opinions and feedback. I think he'll also be rounding up some nice wines and good deals.

I'll still be administering the WineBoard but Alex & his team will be handling the other aspects of the site. Please welcome him.

Thanks,
Jackie

Welcome aboard PW. One sure way would be to send a bottle of 02 Insignia to all members who've been onboard for at least 5 months. You can leave out Bucko as he has lost over 82&1/2% of his taste buds as he's aged. WW

Insignia's a good choice, but have you tried Schug Heritage Reserve? I'd be interested to hear any tasting notes about Schug Heritage Reserve Cab. Founded by Walter Schug, who was the maker of Insignia back in the early 80's. We're going to do some good promo goody giving on Wines.com after the site's a bit cleaner. We're lowering our prices, importing images to build a library of labels and we're also looking for a wine news feed that has a bit more strength with regards to domestic wine issues, travel, festivals, dinners. It would be great to visit with you to share a glass or two...or three.
