Off to France tomorrow night for 10 days. After going to exotic dive locations in Fiji, Yap, Palau, etc., the boss (she who must be obeyed) said enough, next trip is to Europe.

So, off we go to Alsace. Yes WW, where all of those weenie whites are..... Yee Haw!! I am going to the land of milk and honey.... I hope to have Gewurztraminer running out my ears.

Bon voyage, Bucko! Warm clothes and a brolly are definitely in order, along with a ravenous appetite! Given the current hysteria in Europe regarding livestock disorders, you may have the tourist haunts to yourselves. Best wishes.

Anyone been in Northern Italy in the last month? Can we still get a Bisteca Fiorentina or a Costatto di Cavallo (prime rib of horse, mmm, mm good)??? Or will we be reduced to just amazing risotto and Venetian Seafood???

Leaving in 72 hours to make the world safe for Nero d'Avola, Roberto
