Thanks! Kat

CCK: i would gladly e-mail you an RSVP, but don't have your addy. count me in, although i won't know til next summer if my wife will be able to attend. thanks SO much for all your work on this.

i know everyone will have their opinions on an itinerary, but perhaps if we don't make the walla walla drive on that saturday, we can do local wineries that day that we would have done on sunday, leaving sunday for us to enjoy at the barbecue the way too many wines i imagine we'll all be bringing. just a thought. i'm wondering how my liver will hold up for all this! and remember: saturday aug. 6, 2005 is my birthday!

[B]That's a good point Newsguy. Flying in I will probably only bring four wines, but I enjoy sharing what I like with others at the offline and so Sunday would be a good time for that. Also, people will be arriving at different times on Thursday or Friday, so a full schedule on Friday might leave out some who get in Friday afternoon. (I plan to visit Oregon a couple days before but others may be arriving on Friday.)
CCK, please provide your e-mail again.

Not sure what SisterDear's schedule will be. She works for a police department too. Ideally we'd like to have about a week or so out west to visit some family in Issaquah, Sandy, OR and Vancouver.

Doesn't appear to be an e-mail link at present. Site is under construction.

First, I have 19 people on our list so far-- I will send an email out with this list in it sometime soon.

Second, Walla Walla-- it is a bit of a drive, but then, it IS Walla Walla. I can cut the pace on Sunday to having a few local winemakers join our BBQ and have "optional" visits availible to those who get up early...

Will take feedback for the next week then set the dates.

Thanks to all! Look forwarding to meeting everyone,
K

Friday- Prosser wineries, vineyard experience w/Olsen Bros. mgr. and dinner at a winery.
Sat- Walla Walla wineries and lunch. Dinner in Tri-Cities and music at Bookwalter winery. (For the "hardy")
Sun- Special morning treat! (photo op) One winery and wine country BBQ.

It's all basically done unless someone has a major place/thing they must see with the group. I will create a list of places to stay and some other local entertainment sometime in Jan or Feb. Will also do a little sheet on wineries/bistros/shops to hit as you drive from Seattle or Portland to here. (Please let me know directly if you have any questions about things to do/see, places to eat, in the Seattle or Portland areas-- I know them both very well.)

Hope you all have a great week!
I have the launch of my Winemaker Calendar, a (the) photographer (Greg )coming to town for our winter vineyard shoot and a cookbook to work on with him-- so I'll be off line more than on for a bit. Kat

Sounds like youse done lined us up with a winner Kat-Girl. Don't think I'll bring any wines as the amount of good reds available will more than tax my indulging prowess. Mite send you a Mag of sumpin' to toast the festivities. WW

winedope-- it will be a great trip, hope you can make it!
WW- Thanks! I think that we will have plenty of "reds" available for you and everyone else-- of course! Just set up our dinner for Saturday with a great winemaker...
