So WW found the "Lakes" reds to be a little light, eh?
Well, two of my favorite wines coming out of the valley right now happen to be rose' wines. (It's hot here!) Not sure if we can hold WW down long enough to get those in him next year, but it's worth the try. After which I will reward him with an endless supply of well-earned reds...

Now that WW is away we can tell stories. We actually had to drag him out of Fox Run where they were pouring their Lemberger and Cabernet Franc for lunch. Understand you have some Lemberger up that way Kat.

Yeah, it was nice. I tried the Austrian equivalent at a New York City Restaurant two days later and I think I prefered Fox Run's version.

Do your plans include Columbia Valley and Walla Walla?

Catie, we will spending a very busy weekend about two hours west of Walla Walla. It is possible that some of our folks will spend additional time out there before or after, and get down to your region. For many of us, it will be our first trip to the Northwest, and there is so much to see!

Hi all...I be back! A terrible shock to the system coming from 100* into 68*. Almost put on a pair of long pants. Sounds like there's a party brewing. You can definately count CB and moi' in, so Buckinheimer give the doll to Gene. Had lots of good juice in San Diego. No reports as it was all drunk wif' buddies who don't analize, just drink. I know that my efforts to get them to analize tastes are in vain but I keep trying. Took a case of 95s over and the only comment I got was "this is really smooth. Where can I buy some?(Stags Leap SLV)". This is my 1st stop so before I leave hope you all played nice whilst I be away. WW [img]http://wines.com/ubb2/wink.gif[/img]

Well I was holding on to a slim chance of attending the Washington Retreat.

But the next year is filling up quickly.
March is our 20th aniversary.
May we have a daughter graduating high school.
Our middle daughter is now engaged and planing either a June or Sept. Wedding.
And the daughter that graduates HS will be going to college.
