has flatly stated she iasn't going to the FL in June. It stems from 2 problems; 1 is her deadly fear of flying and the 2nd is when she leaves here from June thru Sept. she wants to be on the ocean in or near San Diego. After much agonizing thought I've decided to take her to San Diego instead of coming solo to the offline. I was looking forward with great anticipation seeing all of you again and meeting the new members of the board. I'm still going to send some juice up to Gene for your drinking pleasure and will let the attendees vote on which bottles of the 97s' they want. Will post the list tomorrow. Life sometimes offers difficult choices. WW

Sorry to hear that, WW. I know everyone would have wanted to meet her. However, Judy and I are still coming out to your place on June 25 and 26, so at least some of us will get to see her.

I'm very disappointed, to say the least, but I understand the need to make choices. I hope our paths cross sometime in the future.

I'm sorry to hear that as well. Would love to see you both there. Planning getaways for two aren't always that simple.

That being said, I recieved a promotion at work which takes my chances of being there down a couple percentage points. I'm not giving up yet, though. Hattie is excited about the weekend as well as myself. I'll have to think about other arrangements at work. Not easy; but not impossible.

Mark,
Congratulations on the promotion! They have to give you a vacation sometime don't they? Why not make it in June which doesn't hit either Memorial Day long weekend or 4th of July? I hope to see you and Hattie in New York.

I hated to make the decision but after much agonizing decided to think about my lovlies pleasure rather than my rather selfish one. And Georgie Love, your solution is not an option. I wore out the knees on my only 2 good pair of pants to get her to say yes. I'll post some wines for the attendees to pick from and the consesus picks win. All I ask is to have the sweet WOW post on them suckerz after the offline. And yeppo there KC, am looking forward to having the lovely Judy and, yes you too, here in the desert. I'll be talking to you in the interim to cement the deal. WW

"I wore out the knees on my only 2 good pair of pants "

Does that mean all that's left are shorts?

I've just scrubbed too. Too far to go, too short a time, 'way too much going on here to walk away from. Xin loi, GIs. We'll try next time.... maybe even in this area, if I can find the right property. Best to all.
