Move the wedding to Finger Lakes Wine Country--it is beautiful here im May, besides the "retreat" could use a few more participants.

The frown is intentional this time. Sure hope you can make it Hotwine and Debbie. However, best wishes are in order for your daughter and son-in-law to be.

Baaaad news!

This is a heads up. Am planning to re-do our kitchen in January. I mean really re-do--rip out walls and ceilings and cut holes here and there, oh my, I must be nuts.

Anyway, hope it's done by May so we can do a gathering on Sunday for those who stay until Monday.

Gene, you're invited too--it's only $50 for you...

Same here, IK.
Sorry, Georgie.

Sympathies to Foodster. We finished our kitchen remodel just before Christmas last year - a major traumatic event. Cooked in a microwave in the sunroom for at least six months. Don't want to do that again. (That's the same sunroom we've been sleeping in since August this year, while we remodel our master bedroom and bath. Almost done. People come into our home and see a king-sized bed in the sunroom and say "Whuuuut....?)

Gene, we've honestly just spoken of the idea of asking the kids to hold their wedding at your place, and flying guests up there on a chartered SW flight. Too much. 'Way too much, even for crazy Texans.
