Well, more big stuff going on in my life. On Monday I am taking my 93 1/2 year old Aunt Marie to a family wedding in Vancouver BC. (Hubby to be is not going.) Aunt Marie and I will first go to her duaghter's new home which she just built on Hat Island near Seattle. It's only accessible by private boat or public ferry from Everett, WA. From there, on Thursday, we'll drive up to Vancouver. Wedding Friday night. Saturday we'll go back to the island. On Sunday we've booked a five hour train ride from Seattle to Portland OR to visit with Aunt Marie's son in Sandy, Oregon. Then back to the island for a couple of days before flying home on the 25th. As some of you know, I'm a person who seldom goes ANYWHERE, let alone to the other side of the continent. Wish us luck. I hope we can sample a few good northwest wines along the way!

Have a ball Teach. You should love the great North-West. Beautiful country and meeny solid wines. The Vancouver area is gorgeous as is most of Seattle. Love the ferry ride in my car. Have a nice bottle opened and enjoy the trip. WW

Do you mean Vancouver Island? It's a lovely place. Check out Yellow Point Lodge, if you get a chance.
