As I am New to this world of wine could some one tell me about the following wines in my cellar.
Ruffino Risvere Ducale Chianti.
1972 Nuits-Saint-George.
1955 Martinez vintage port

Hi Tony Franks and welcome to the board. Not familiar with the Chianti but the 72 Nuits is probably a dead soldier. The 55 Port could be a sleeper. Just by chance you have the perfect timing to pop them dudies open and find out. Happy New Year. WW

You don't mention the year, but the Chianti would probably be best within about 5 years of the vintage.
