Some thoughts:

Really, Jackie and Jim, when I logged back on this past week after an absence of some 15 months, I didn't expect to be still listed as a Moderator. Thanks for leaving the light on, I guess.

I'm honored, of course, and I guess apologies are in order for being such an absentee. I'll try to be a bit better now that my life is starting to shape up into something resembling order, and am grateful that you still find my contributions useful.

Of course, when I do so, it is still primarily in memory of Jerry and all he's done to contribute to the wine education of the good 'ol U.S. of A. There's no way I could do close to as much, but at least I can try to uphold that responsibility, can I?

Somehow, there is a retail thread here, and am not sure if it helps! 'Course, not on the inside, padded channel...where wine is simply enjoyed!

In fact, there are many unofficial moderators and true experts who keep this place lively and honest. I'd make them all moderators if I could.
