Anyone familiar with Lorca Wines in California? The winemaker also works at Caymus. There is a wine dinner coming up
with Lorca wines and I'm considering attending.

I've heard of them, but I've never had them. They're made by Jon Bolta from Caymus, but you already knew that. He gets fruit from Mer Soleil, Pisoni, Rattlesnake and a few others. That's about all I know about them.

From what I found it's the name of the village in Spain his grandparents came from.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll chance it. There's a pinot noir on the dinner list although not the one from Pisoni Vineyards.
