Hi people, this is my 1st posting to the forum.I am very new to drinking wine, and my friend recommended me to drink Napa Valley 2000 BV's Zinfandel. My bf and I bought the wine for the valentine dinner, and I didnt quite enjoy the dry tasting even though it was quite smooth to go down.I am hoping that if anyone can give me a better recommendation.I am looking for something sweet to begin with, preferable ones that i can go with dessert.Thank!

Hi Rachel and welcome to the board. If you check back on the " Blush " thread think you'll find the wine of choice you'rs looking for is White Zinfandel. Beringer, B.V. , Sutter Home, and many others produce nice versions of this. Good Luck./ WW

Also, try German Riesling Spatlese (late picking). It can be made dry but normally is not. It usually has some residual sugar that goes nicely with cake, fruit desserts, etc.
