hey all...
we're leaving tomorrow for stinson beach.
We're going to Sacramento to see the house where I spent my first 4 birthdays and doing Easton/T.R. while we're at it.

I've got one day for wineries besides this and decided on Sonoma...

The plan:
Cline, Schug, Kaz, then Matanzas.

On another day we may do Viansa (looks fun)

Does this sound good? Am I missing something vital? Is one of these uninteresting? What do you all think?

Finally, Anyone know of a good shipping post in Sonoma or San Francisco? Buffalos looks good, but we won't be in Napa.

If you make it into downtown Healdsburg, a stop at Selby is highly recommended. Particularly their Malbec, but we also were smitten with their Zins and Pinots, and they have some delicious dessert stuff.

Our surprise favorite visit from last summer's trip to Sonoma and Napa was to iconoclastic Harvest Moon, in the RRV. Loved, loved, loved the Pinot.

Have fun, and be sure to post your notes for our vicarious pleasure!

sounds good... I may skip Schug and add Harvest Moon. Selby will be the last on if we still have stamina after Harvest Moon...

I don't know if you'll be accessing the forum while on vacation but I will throw in a second to the Selby tasting room in Healdsburg (Rosenblum zinfandels are available in a tasting room on the same street) and for a winery tasting room with very nice Pinot Noirs and a lovely view, Gary Farrell (also Sonoma area but some distance from Healdsburg.)
