Ok - I'll help you with the wine, but I can't help you with the food. Sorry, I don't cook!

Whites:

Riesling - Germany

Chardonnay - France (Burgundy)

Moschofilero - Greece

Sauvignon Blanc - New Zealand

Pinot Grigio - Italy

Reds

Cabernet Sauvignon - US

Shiraz - Australia

Rioja - Spain

Malbec - Argentina

Carmenere - Chile

You can now do a good search using the grape and put in food pairing and you will come up with idea.

Good luck.

Also, the Rioja wine is mainly from the Tempranillo grape.
