NEED HELP!

I tried a white wine at a reception party and I really don't know the name of it, but I think it was something like Umverte?!?! I'm really not sure, but it was the best stuff ever. Maybe the bottle had a big "V" on it... It was a white, sparkling wine. It wasn't dry or anything, it kind of tasted like sparkling grape juice. Please help me find this wine!

Welcome to the board. Perhaps a Vinho Verde? That's a white wine from Portugal that frequently has a bit of spritz to it. Very inexpensive. Call around your local wine shops.

Any chance you could ask the host for the name of the wine or if at a country club or commercial restaurant, ask the party planner?
