hey all! i dont know much about wine im usally drinking beer, but im trying to find a wine for me and my wife,she likes arbor mist and wine coolers, she doesnt like the alcohol taste so strong in a bottle of wine, is there a wine out there with out a strong alcohol taste that has a cork and you dont have too chill. thanks

Hi Sour, and welcome to the Wine Board. Two questions: Why can't you chill the wine? and what are you eating? The reason why I'm asking, is that most low alcohol wines are white and need to be chilled.

WE ARE HAVING A TRADITIONAL DINNER, HAM AND SALADS deserts I DID NOT KNOW THAT WHITE WAS LOW IN ALCOHOL IM ALREADY LEARNING!NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE CHILL I THOUGHT MOST WINE WERE DRANK AT ROOM TEMP.

Gotcha, get a German Riesling Kabinett. A good one can be had for between $15 & $20. It needs to be cooled to 55 degrees F or so. White wines do need to be cooled, as do rose's and some light reds such as Beaujolais.

ok!thanks for the info,ill be on the look for the german wines, ive got it wrote down,that arbor mist reminds me of boonsfarm which is all right but you know i just wanted too kick it up a notch with some candles and maybe a electric blanket! we have no fire place,a little later on, ok so stay warm i have a sister that lives up there around you lunnenburg vermont very pretty place, i love it, thanks again!
