Hi,

some years ago, I visited Napa Valley, California.
During that trip, I purchased three bottles of wine.

1) Cabernet Sauvignon 1996. Produced and bottled by V. Sattui Winery
2) Frcscolina 1998. Central Coast Tocai Friulano. Bottled by Viansa Winery
3) Electra 1998. a California Orange Muscat. Produced and bottled by A. Quady Winery

my question is are these 3 bottles of wine can be keep for long time? the longer the better? or are they already expired?

thank you very much for your time.

best regards,

Bruins

Hi Bruins, and welcome to the Wine Board. The cabernet should be ready to drink now, and, if properly cellared, should hold a few more years, and even improve. The tocai is on the verge of extinction, and should be popped soon. If the orange muscat is a dessert wine, and there should be some indication on the label, e.g. level of residual sugar, it will hold for some time.

The Quady is a delicious dessrt wine and IMHO is about as good as it gets when released. Invite some friends over, pop the Viansa first wjth some cheese, then throw some yummy steaks on for the Sattui, then put a killer nite to bed whilst sippin the Muscat.WW
