Is there any differance between pinot gris and pinot grigio? Also, sirah and siraz?

Hi Glen, and welcome to the Wine Board. You have got it right. There may be some clonal differences as with all grape varieties, but they are the same varieties. Petite Sirah is Druif and different from Syrah/Shiraz.

Regarding your response to my previous post, thank you!
speeking of petite syrah, when I first tried petite syrah, it was Bogles and wonderful. In comparing other petite syrah vintners,I haven't found one that even comes close. Any suggestions?

There are basically two kinds of Petite Sirah, those that are immediately approachable such as Bogle's, and those you have to wait five to seven years on. Another in the former category is Parducci. Others you may have had may have been in the latter category and were consumed too young.
