sounds like...moscatto diasi???

hi, i am a novice with wine, but i enjoy it very much. my girlfriend does not like it that much. however, she says she likes a wine which, when she says it, sounds similar to "moscatto diasi." what is the actually spelling of this? is it expensive? where can i get it; is it available at any liquor store or do i have to order it? thank you.

Hi Matt, and welcome to the Wine Board. You are pretty close. It's Moscato d'Asti. It ranges from $11 to $16. If you are anywhere near 2933 Santa Monica Blvd, drop into Wine Expo and get some.
