HELP?

I was recently found a 1986 bottle of a Cabernet Sauvignon. When I found the bottle it was in the upright position and has been for 15 years. I can see particals floating in the wine. Does any one know what might have happend. If the qork in dryed out will the bottle leak if put back in the correct storeing position? I have aprox 30 bottles of assorted types located in my living room stored in the correct position, and my house in never above 75deg. Will I run into probs. with this setup? Thancks!

Hi GRP and welcome to the board. Barring a miracle from Bachuus that sucker be plum' dead. As our usual reply....the only way to know is open the booger and give it a taste. WW
