White Merlot

Does White Merlot have the same health benefits as regular Merlot (or other red wines)?

Hi Jeninga and welcome to the Wine Board. No its doesn't have the same benefit as regular, that is red, Merlot. This is because the benifits are in the sknin, which is removed to make White Merlot.

For your information Pinot Noir has the greatest health benefit, that is the highest level of resveratrol. Again, we are talking about regular, that is red, Pinot Noir. They do make White Pinot or Pinot Noir Rose' too.
