A brief business associate gave me a bottle of Bourgogne 1998, Daniel Pichard, Domaine Des Trois Monts, Tastevinage # 001220. I know very little about wines but I am curious about what I have. I can only find information regarding the Tastevin stamp (http://www.tastevin-bourgogne.com) and nothing of the individual selection itself. If you would be so kind as to answer a few questions I have, I would greatly appreciate your opinion. What is your overall opinion of this selection? Is this a collector's quality wine? Is this a nice dinner wine? Unfortunately, being a bachelor, my terminology for drinking wines is limited to "first date wine", "fifth date wine", "one year of dating wine", or "save for my wedding night wine". Which category would you place this bottle in? And finally, when this wine is consumed, can you suggest a meal that may suit this wine? Your assistance is invaluable. Thank you, Jason

Hi Jasnational and welcome to the board. To answer your questions as succintly as possible; 1) This is not a collevctible wine 2) Try 1st date ) I'm not familiar with the producer but 98 was a good vintage and 4) Some nice pates, cheeses or veal or chicken dishes. WW
