The store around the corner is selling a premier grand cru st emilion 1997 of chateau belair for about $26. Is this the best deal I can get it for?

The only one that www.wine-searcher.com turned up was going for $69.00. Based on that, I'd say you had a good deal.

I note of caution...There is more than one wine called BelAir..make sure that the one you buy is the one you think it is...I think one is bottle simply Haut Medoc and is cheaper than the St. M. variety.
