I am looking for any wine preferably from 1999 with the word Tuscany or Toscana on it. My daughters name is Tuscany and I would like a bottle of wine from the year she was born and with her name on it. The Italian version of Tuscany is Toscana that is why Toscana would be alright. Kind regards to anyone who can help me.

First of all, it will be a year or two before the 1999 Tuscan wines start appearing in stores here or there. In the meantime, you can visit wine stores in your area and check out the wines in the Italian Wine area. Most wines from Tuscany, e.g. Chianti, have the name of the region on the bottle somewhere. As far as having it on the bottle prominently, there are varietally bottled wines with the region following the grape name you may be able to find. An example of these is: Sauvignon, Poggio Alle Gazze, Toscana, Marchese Lodovico. Don't expect you can find this specific wine, but it is the kind of label we're talking about here.

You might try web surfing for tuscany/ wines et al. I found one particularly english friendly site at: http://www.arca.net/mall/conio/wine.htm
This is a tuscan vinyard that encourages tourism and will ship six bottles or more direct. Sometimes small vinyards will do custom labels for you so how about finding a tuscan wine of special quality and have some labels made up to your design. If you could get a wine that would hold you could open a bottle on the 21st birthday, graduation wedding, etc. Which is all to say that I could not find what you were looking for on the web but I did not spend a great deal of effort. Just home recovering from surgery and needing to live someone elses life for a while.... Good luck
