I know nothing about wine, but I recently was handed over a case of 1983 Chateau Leoville for my twenty first birthday that my father bought when I was born. I took it to a wine enthusiast and he said that it was in excellent condition and had been stored exactly right. I am wondering if anyone could help me out on how much it might be worth. Here is the information I can give. I don't know what is significant and what isn't.
-region: Bordeaux
-Appelation: Medoc (Left Bank)
-Vintage: Saint Julien

Check the name of the Chateau again. Is it Leoville-Poyferre, Leoville Las Cases or Leoville Barton?
