What kind of meal is best for these wines?

I have a friend that makes his own wines. I have a couple bottles and have no clue what to serve them with. One is a bottle of 2004 Argentina Malbec con pasa y roble.
The other is a bottle of 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Can anyone out there in cyberland give me a clue? Thankx!

Hi Dennis and welcome to the Wine Board. We like Malbec with light to medium stews. Most recently had it with a lamb and chicken cous cous.

The Cab will go well with meat and potatoes. Steak, lamb chops, etc.
