If I've chilled a white wine, can I take it out of the refrigerator and return it to my cellar for later use or must I keep it chilled?

Beer would go "skunk" if removed from the fridge; will wine be altered?

Hi HCR, and welcome to the Wine Board. Yes, you can. Wine is more bothered by heat than cold. Even if it freezes the only problem is possible displacement of the cork or other closure. Once the temp gets much above 70 degrees F, it is in danger of cooking depending on how hot for how long.
