I would like someone to tell me where I can buy a wine called 'Barefoot Zin', or something like that anyway. It is definitely a rose wine, and I think it's made in Australia. It does exist I assure you.

Cheers.

Welcome to the board Sly. There is a Negotiant in Calif That goes By the name Barefoot Cellars. Must be the same guys as they market, "Barefoot" Chard, Cab, Pinot, Zin, Etc. Some fairly decent juice for the money. Welcome to the board. Check one of the search engines for " Barefoot ". Winoweenie
Forgot to mention that I`ve seen their bottles in Trader Joes`, which I believe you may have.WW

A bit of California history here. Barefoot was founded by Davis Bynum and started out as Barefoot Bynum in the East Bay, kind of a home made wine program. It sported a humorous label with a footprint. It turned out the wines were quite good and Davis received many reqests to sell his wine. Well, so much for Barefoot Bynum, it quickly became known as Davis Bynum Winery and moved to Sonoma County. The Barefoot label was retained for a number of years but evenutally sold off to a negotiante. Said negociante still has an office in the Bynum facility if I'm not mistaken. Also, Bynum's winemaker is well known Gary Farrell.

Thanx for the info.

Not sure if we have any "Trader Joe's" in the backwater that is the UK, but I'll have a look.

Sly, Not positive but I think somewhere in the recesses of what is laughingly called my memory that Trader Joes was owned by someone in England, and they had similar operations in the mother country. Sure that TJ`s have a web site. They`re headquartered in Pasadena Calif. Know they must have public relations types to help answer these momentous questions, Winoweenie
