I Was given two cases of wine made by Solis Vineyards. A '97 Seducente and '97 Sangiovese. Is anyone familiar with these particular wines by Solis and tasted them and should I hold or drink them.

Not familiar with Solis, but the wines by type should be ready to try. When you tasted them, were they ready? Did they have all their elements in balance with some sharpness to the tannin. If so, they will age further. Recommend if they are not ready to drink now, that you retaste them every six months. Neither are long agers, so a year would be too long.
