Baby Newbie Curious

Hello all,

Been surfing around, and reading other posts. Have already picked up on a lot of info already. I just turned 21 a little more than a month ago, and have been excercising my newfound right to purchase alcoholic beverages.

Just curious if there are any other helpful sites for newbies outlining various terms, wine/dinner matching, wine etiquette, etc. This place is great, but the terms page has way too much for a beginner, and was looking for something a little more concise.

Thanks for any help, and I look forward to interacting with all of you, and drawing upon the profound wealth of knowledge present here!

good for you and welcome!! There are several good books for beginners which have been mentioned on other threads on this board. My favorite is Wine For Dummies. Like the other books in this series, it is easy to read and very informative. The members of this board are really very helpful and knowledgeable also.
