I know essentially nothing about wine and i'm going to an italian dinner party tonight and offered to bring a bottle of wine. I was wondering if someone could suggest some types of wine to get. couple of things to keep in mind: I'm a college student so my price range is $15-20 and I'd like to be able to get a something at a typical liquor store. thanks much!!

Hi and welcome to the Wine Board. You can't go wrong with a Chianti Classico and you can get one in your price range.

Lambrusco is another possibility. It's red, light-bodied and refreshing with a light sparkle.
