I have a box set of Ernest & Julio Gallo from 1979. Chenin Blanc, French Colombard and a Rose. However, the Rose is missing. The box is made of wood and the cover is made of plastic but looks like wood carved into a grape vine. Just wondering what this might be worth?

Hello LuJean,

Welcome to the wineboard!

Sorry to say, in my humble opinion, that no...this is not worth anything with or without the complete box. Frankly...I wouldn't even cook with it.

Just my opinion. Others might differ with me.

I disagree. I think you WOULD cook with it. <LOL> I might be temped to cook something extremely dry and subtle with the missing bottle.
