Hey, I just turned 21 about two weeks ago. A friend online who just happens to be a sommlier is out of town and can't answer a question. I have a 1962 Chianti Colli Senesi. I was just wondering how much it might be worth and if it has passed its peak. Thanks and I'm glad I found a busy message board about wine.

Welcome to the Wine Board, Berno. Too bad your friend is out of town. He would have told you that your wine passed its peak close to 40 years ago.

Hi Berno,

Sorry...I agree. It isn't worth selling or drinking - although if you know anyone who was born that year (pick me! pick me!) I'd be willing to give you a few bucks for it because of the label.

Let me know.

Sorry Berno but the people on this board are wine-drinkers and not wine speculators. The bottle you have is only worth the glass recycling of the big bottle. The juice it contains has long since become undrinkable. WW
