If you need high alcohol, then you need more than we can offer.....

How old are you?

Shiraz for a "mood"...nah. A Bordeaux will set the mood...for a good steak! Now a good Chateaunuf du Pape...that's another story...with a storyline more along the lines you're lookin' for.

Don't know where you are in Florida...anything we recommend will be overruled by local availability. If the meeting is really soon, then suggest you visit local wine stores 'til you find someone who can a)answer your question & suggest a wine that's available, & b)back up the answer with plausible reasoning.

Good luck. cp

How's about a Chateau Haut-Bages Averous, or a Chateau La Louviere? Another great Bordeaux for the money, is Chateau Tayac's Prestige Label. Any of these would be enjoyable, set the mood, and all should be under $50.

You said she likes CS and S.........

Well there are a whole lot of choices in that area...... especially if you are talking about the blends.

ON the cheap side try KJ Collage CS & S. Not a bad drinker, really and it is cheap. Not much more than around $10.00 per bottle. That leaves you with around $40.00 for the rest of the meal..........

Oh, yeah KJ means Kendall-Jackson. Almost the next best thing to box wine, but they sometimes manage to fool us.
