In a Wine Refrigerator what tempertures do you use

I just bought a Haier 42 Btl Wine Refrigerator and It stated that you can store both Red And Whites how do you set this up any suggestion. What is ideal temp for both and how long could you expect to safetly store a bottle of red. Thanks

Welcome to the board. Both reds and whites should be stored at the same temperature: 55-57F. Serving temps are usually different, but not storage temp.

As to the length of time a wine may be stored unopened before it begins to lose its desirable characteristics: that really varies greatly from one grape variety to another, and even among bottlings from a single producer.

When using a Wine Refrigerator do you store reds at the bottom and whites at the top? I have tryed to find if other people are using Wine Refrigerators but I haven't found to much on that and any brand you might recomend even though It is to late for me since i just bought a Haier 42 Btl one. Thanks for the help

In a small 'fridge that only holds 42 bottles I don't think the temp will vary much from top to bottom.

Magic, we have a specific thread for wine storage. Look down the list toward the bottom for Storage/cellars/racking. You'll find several discussions of wine fridge manufacturers, models, etc., including the Haier line.
