I want to try wines but know that I do not like dry wines at all. Can someone point me in the direction I should start? Thanks.

Hi Klpeters and welcome to the Wine Board. Looks like you want to start with a sweet wine. That just happens to be our very first FAQ: http://www.wines.com/faq.html#1

I would look for tastings that are held in wineshops or other retail outlets.

You also can grab a few friends go out to a winebar and ask to try a few wines. They will give you a little bit to help you decide.

By doing this you aren't spending a lot of money on bottles before you actually know what you like.
