Irecently came across a case of Chateau Haute Brion ,graves rouge, and would like to find out if it is worth anything. thank you for any information.

Hi Kono, and welcome to the Wine Board. The 1983 vintage was a very good one following the sensational one in '82. Graves in general and Hout Brion in particular have the longest lives among most Bordeaux. If yours has been maintained in proper conditions it could be worth between $150 and $300 per bottle at auction. If you are wine drinker, you have some very good wine that should be fully mature right now. Enjoy.

Hi Kono and welcome to the board. IK is rite on about the vintage and the fact that the Haut Brion is a very good but not great wine. My only addition is that he's a little high on the top-end estimate. If you can get 200 per bottle, grab the money and run! winoweenie Most have been selling in my neck of the bottle for under 175 per
