Hi

I will be hosting for the first time a wine tasting. Any ideas of what would be good choices for this event?

Thanks
(please no reccommendations for french wines)

Why won't you take recommendations for French wines?

Hi Mirela, and welcome to the Wine Board. Recommend you get six wines, three red and three white. Each should be in light, medium, and full bodies. Serve the whites first light to full, and the the reds the same way. Have lots of cut up baguettes, and other foods for people to clean their palates with and keep reasonably sober. Also have a vessel to pour unfinished tastes in.
