I had a cab style wine on a transatlantic flight of Delta recently called Duetto.
It was a blend of a Mexican and California red. Anyone know the name and whereabouts of the winery?

Duetto is one of Wente Vineyards international ventures...a wine blended from fruit from Mexico and from California, which is how it gets the name.
I had the '96 Duetto in June at a dinner that Wente hosted at VinExpo(trade show for wine and spirits) in Bordeaux. If memory serves me correctly, they introduced it at VinExpo two years ago.
I agree that it's worth seeking out.
Wente Vineyards can be contacted at 5050 Arroyo Road, Livermore, CA 94550. Phone is (925)456-2450.
I'm sure they'll be glad to send you all the info you want.
