I just moved from Illinois to Columbus Ohio. I was purchasing my wine from a local vender there and they carried Ste.Chapelle from Idaho.

I am having a probelm finding a fender in Ohio. Can any one help in how to lacate one? I tried the web site but there was no way to purchase it from them or any tips on how to find were they are sold.

Any help would be great.

Thank you.

Hi Jef, and welcome to the Wine Board. Try www.wine-searcher.com to find a vendor in Ohio. If that fails, you may find out of state vendors that are less queasy about shipping directly to you than the winery was.

In virtually all states, stores have a portfolio of distributors and the wines they carry. Here it's called the Massachusetts Beverage Journal, and all the stores have a copy so they'll know how to find something they don't carry that a customer may want. Go to a shop that specializes in fine wines and I'm sure they'll have just such a book under the counter. If St. Chapelle wines are brought into OH, they'll be in the book and the shop can order it for you from the distributor that carries them. Incidentally, you'll find the prices in OH are quite a bit higher than elsewhere, because that's the way the beverage business operates there.
