Hello, and welcome to the wine board. Have you considered using ebay to try and sell it? The reason I suggest it is that it seems to me that most people who collect and/or would buy Marilyn Merlot do so for the label/packaging, not necessarily for the contents. Usually, wine collectors approach it from the reverse, and a MM from 1988 is almost certainly dead, further limiting the appeal to wine people. There seems to be a thriving reseller market for them over there (currently about 45 listings).

I just joined and I understand its been a couple of years. But if you happen to be around and still have some, I love her wine. I am not a wine expert or anything like that...my dad loved her and bought me a bottle years ago. i just do it b/c it reminds me of him.

Seems our new poster is a dedicated drinker. If I may be so mean Schoog it's about time you branch out and try something besided the Marilyn Merlot. If you have a penchant to try this let me know and I'll give you some upgrades on this juice. WW
