My friend is having a little wine tasting party with the theme of good, but inexpensive, wine. Any suggestions? Food wise, cheese and crackers will be available. Thanks.

A few suggestions for you:

$5-10
Cote du Rhone
Macon
Muscadet
Aussie Shiraz

$10-$20
NZ S.B.
Sancere
Pouilly Fuisse

For specific wine names search for posts on wines of each category...

If you can find the following CDR, it's a $10 masterpiece. Parker gave it a 90.

2000 Domaine de Brunel CDR
Curvee Somelongue
