Is the 97 Sterling cav much better than the 98?
There is a tremendous price diference? Is it worth it?

Thanks

Kikita

Kikita, welcome to the board. Is the 97 the " Reserve " or their " Diamond Mtn " and the 98 their Napa? This would account for a great disparity in pricing. The 97 and 98 Napa are about the same price. I imagine that you haven't read the labels carefully enough. WW Regardless, the 97 of all of their bottlings are far superior to their corresponding 98s'.

Thank you all. Maybe it was the reserve I saw for $ 80.
If you wnted to buy sterling "cav" Napa would you pick 97 or 98. The 97 is hard to get.

Thanks again

Kikita

Hi, please take another look at WW's posting above. He answered the question for you!

By all means, go for the '97.
