plattenberg, anyone ?

My father in law tasted this German wine in a Beverly Hills Restaurant called "El Padrino". This was 20 years ago. He has not heard of the wine since. Does anyone know about this wonderfully fantastic (he says) white wine?

Plattenberg is a vineyard in Mehring, Germany, and that's the middle Moselle. Armed with this info, you should be able to find some at a decent wine shop.
