hi, all. I have seen your many postings on Beaujolais Nouveau, and how you probably shouldn't purchase it after the first quarter of the year ( or so). I've been sent a wine store catalog that offers 2001 Beaujolais Nouveau, Georges Duboeuf, at 3.94/bottle or 47.25 per case. What's up ? Is this an anomaly or is this way too good to be true? Thanks in advance for the help. WD

Nothing to be confused about WD. When they start to give it away, it is because the quality has dropped off precipitiously. The exception is when the great price is offered by a bottom feeder such as the one we know on Santa Monica Blvd.

thanks, IK. Thought so from what you all have said on the subject, but didn't want to miss out if it was a good buy.
