Below is the first post I wrote yesterday. What I was not perfectly clear in communicating was that I have someone interested in possibly selling these bottles, and they are asking what they are worth in value. So, if anyone can provide the answers, I would be most thankful.

Hello all, I have three questions regarding the estimated value of three wines below, assuming all have been cellared properly:

1.)Beaulieu Vineyard (BV) Estate Bottled Pr.Res., Georges de Latour, Napa, ’70 Founders Red Wine

2.)Rioja Tinto Grand Reserve Faustino I, ’86, Spain

3.)Barton Guestier, ’89, B & G, St. Louis, Beaujolais, Product of France

In my opinion the resale value of these wines is zero. The second two actually have no value. The first one has value, but would be almost impossible to move unless you could find a collector of that particular wine. You could try winebid.com.

Hi VW and welcome to the board. The BV Latour 70 was, is, and has always been one of the 5 most memorable bottlings I've had the pleasure of drinking. The BIG question is how was this wine stored? The second is how many bottles does your friend have? I recently saw the BV at a reputable merchant for 125. The other 2 winws are worthless. WW
