Please help! I am a novice...don't know much about wines. My father n law left us w/some collectibles, furniture, etc about 6 years ago..along w/it was a bottle of wine...1984 Premiat Cabernet Sauvignon. I've been holding onto it not knowing if it is any good or a hard to find one...soo does anyone know? Is this good stuff? Does the maker have a good rep? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks and I hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Hi Happy Girl and welcome to the Wine Board. Your Premiat is a bulk wine produced behind the Iron Curtain. Current vintages(not produced behind the Iron Curtain)sell for $3.99 per bottle. It is the sort of wine that loses value over time rather than increasing in value. You might try it to see if it is any good. There is very little chance of this. Sorry.
