Hello everyone, I am brand new to drinking wine and was hoping that you guys could give me some suggestions. I prefer red wine and am looking to spend about $15-25 a bottle. If you guys have any good suggestions let me hear them.

Travis

Hi Travis B, and welcome to the Wine Board. A wine that is becoming very popular right now and sells in your price range is American Syrah. Look partiularly for those from Washington State and the California's Central Coast. They are aromatic and fruity and very approachable, that is they are ready to drink upon relase for the most part.

Hogue Winery's (fron Washington)current Syrah release is very good and right in the lower end of price range.
