Storing win

I made my first kit of Barolo.

That one actually. I just got a wine cooler. I bottled today and was wondering what temperature can my Barolo should be stored at. Also I believe this wine can age for a while, how long should I let it sit. Any recommendations or advice would be great. Thanks!

Welcome to the wineboard.

Nebbiolo has to age for a while. Probably 3-4 years. I wouldn't drink a "Barolo" before 7 years. It takes a while for nebbiolo to relax and become drinkable.

Well that leads me to another question than. My wine has corks (not synthetic). Don't I have to worry about them drying or rotting even if they are on their sides.

You really only have to worry about drying corks if you store the bottles standing up for about 5 (or more) years in a dry environment. The corks shouldn't rot for about another 20 to 30 years (unless you got some really inferior quality corks).
