Long Island, NY Vineyards

I am going to be in the Eastern Long Island area during Labor Day weekend and I’ve heard the vineyards out there offer some very interesting selections. Can anyone suggest a place worth visiting? I am not a Merlot fan, so I would be looking for a red with less "pop appeal."

One non-pop wine that Eastern L.I. does well with in cabernet franc. Some to choose from include Gristina, Osprey's Dominion, Paumanok, and Schneider.

I have nothing to add to the above recommendations. Unlike some rattling ramblers, I knows when to shut up--sometimes...
